Sign up with Facebook:
1. Go to lovla.dk or download the Lovla app for IOS or Android
2. Tap “Sign up with Facebook” when joining us
3. Sign up with your Facebook account - rest assured that Lovla will never post anything on your Facebook profile
4. Allow Lovla access to all required permissions

Of course 😄 You can easily sign up on Lovla, by using your email. Just follow the steps below:

How do I choose a strong password?
Here’s a few tips for an unbreakable password 💪🏼🛡️

- At least 6 characters long
- A mix between letters and numbers
- Some letters as capitals
Why did my Lovla sign up fail?
An account sign up failure means that one or more information in the signup process were entered incorrectly 🙃

Why is my account under review?
Our most important task is to make your experience on Lovla as safe as possible and to maintain a high quality of the members you meet 🤩 Therefore, we review all new profiles created on Lovla every day 👷‍♀️

Once we’ve approved your profile, you’re free to surf around on Lovla 💑

It usually takes a few hours, but during busy periods, it can take a bit longer ⏳

Can I have more than one account on Lovla?
1 person = 1 account on Lovla ⚖️
It’s not allowed to have more than one account. This is to make sure that the people you meet, are real and your experience on Lovla is safe 🙌🏼

What can I do if I forgot my password?
We know the annoying feeling, of a forgotten password to well 🤦🏼 That’s why, we’ve made it easy to fix the issue 😉

Just follow these steps:

1. Go to the log in page on Lovla
2. Press "Forgot Password?"
3. Enter the email connected to your Lovla account
4. Tap "Reset password"
5. In a few minutes you’ll receive a reset link in your email (remember to check your spam filter)
6. Finally, follow the steps in the email, to reset your password
7. And you’re ready to go again 👏🏼🏁

What can I do if I forgot my Apple ID, Google or Facebook password?
Unfortunately we can’t help you find your password to your Apple ID, Facebook or Google, but personal experience taught us to do the following:

📱 Under Lovla's sign in, you first have to select the platform, which your Lovla account is connected to
ℹ️ Follow the instructions under that sign in page
👍🏻 Once you’ve updated your Apple-, Goggle- or Facebook information, you should be able to use it to sign in to your Lovla account again

If it doesn’t help, try contacting the platform. Hopefully they can help you recover your account. Good luck! 🍀
What can I do if I didn’t receive the Password Reset email?
Sometimes tech issues requires the patience of an angel 👼🏼 It may take a few minutes until you receive the reset link ⏱️

If time goes by and you still didn’t receive an email, make sure that you’ve entered the correct email in the “Forgot password” section and check your spam filter 🔍
What can I do if I didn’t receive the confirmation email?
If you can’t find the confirmation email we sent you, it's often because it got caught in your email’s spam filter 🕸️ Have you checked for there? 👀

What can I do if I can’t enter my Lovla account?
Ok so, sign in problems are usually related to a typo in your sign in information - your email or password 🙃

Check your information again and follow the instructions to the sign in process.
If you’re still having problems, send us a screenshot and a full description of the issue and we’ll help 🔧
Why am I told “No account associated to this email”?
Here’s the thing, you’ll only see this message if one of these three scenarios happens:

1️⃣ You might not have a Lovla account. If this is the case, join us via lovla.dk or by downloading the Lovla app on your device 📱
2️⃣ There might be a typo in your email. Check your email and make sure that it’s associated to your Lovla account 📧
3️⃣ A final possibility, can simply be minor forgetfulness. Maybe you’ve previously deleted your account, only to forget it later? If so, you can easily create a new account with the email you used before.

Why is my account banned?
We love helping singles create deeper connection 💖
But the security of our members is and always will be of our utmost concern 🔐

Your account will be banned immediately and without warning, if it violates Lovla's Terms of Use. If you aren’t sure what the Terms are, you can find them under “Support”. Take your time, look it through, and if you still have questions, contact us 👍🏼
Will I lose access to my Lovla account if I deactivate my Apple ID-, Google- or Facebook account?
Don’t worry 😊 Deactivating your Apple ID-, Google- or Facebook account won’t keep you from accessing your Lovla account. Just follow the steps below:

Go to the sign in page on Lovla
Press "Forgot Password?"
Enter the email connected to your Lovla account
Tap "Reset password"
In a few minutes you’ll received a reset link in your email (remember to check your spam filter)
Finally, follow the steps in the email, to reset your password
Done! ✌🏼
How do I log out?
You can log out of Lovla under your profile. Easy peasy 👍🏼

Account

Can I change my gender on Lovla?
Mistakes happen, and you might’ve entered the wrong gender, when setting up your Lovla account 👫 If that’s the case, you’ll need to setup a new account with the correct gender.

It’s not possible to change the gender once the account is set up 🤗 This is to ensure the safest and most credible experience, while meeting new people.

Send an email to info@lovla.dk, then we’ll delete the account with the wrong gender 👍🏻
How do I change my password?
So you want a new password? No problem! 👌🏼 Simply go to Password under Settings ⚙️ - And if you need inspiration for an extra strong password, check ”How do I choose a strong password?“ in our FAQ 💪🏼🔒
How do I change my email?
You can easily change the email associated to your Lovla account. All you have to do is go to Email under your Settings, and finally follow the instructions on the page of your email ✅
I haven’t received a confirmation email
Did you lose sight of your confirmation email? 🔦 We’ve got some great tips for finding it:

🚧 Check if the confirmation email has been redirected to your spam filter by mistake
✏️ Go to Email under Lovla's settings and see if you’ve entered the correct email
📨 Send the confirmation email again and open it in your inbox

How do I change my notifications settings?
Do you want to stay up to date when your dating life is glowing? 💖

Then jump on to Settings and click on Notifications. Here you can set when you want to receive notifications from Lovla.

If you’ve previously rejected notifications on your device, you must first go to its settings and activate notifications before you can activate them via Lovla 📳 Here’s a guide:

3. Choose Lovla

Android:
1. Go to your phone’s settings
2. Click on Apps

How do I connect my Lovla account to my Apple ID?
If you have an Apple ID, you can easily connect it to your Lovla account 👍🏻 Go to Lovla and follow these steps to connect the two accounts 👫🏻

How do I connect my Lovla account to my Google account?
If you have a Google account, you can easily connect it to your Lovla account 👍🏻 Go to Lovla and follow these steps to connect the two accounts 👫🏻

How do I connect my Lovla account to my Facebook account?
If your Facebook account is kinda similar to ours, then it might be full of photos where you look like a superstar 😎 Go to Lovla and follow these steps to connect the two accounts 🤝

1. Go to Profile

3. Tap Connections
4. Tap Connect
5. Follow the instructions from Facebook

My Lovla account is connected to the wrong Apple ID. How do I correct this?
Connecting the wrong account can happen to anyone. Fortunately, there is an easy solution to the problem 😉 Go to Lovla and follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Connections
3. Tap Disconnect
4. Reconnect by tapping Connect
5. Follow instructions on the screen
My Lovla account is connected to the wrong Google account. How do I correct this?
Did you connect Lovla to the wrong Google Account? It can easily be changed to another 😉 Go to Lovla and just follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Connections
3. Tap Disconnect
4. Reconnect by tapping Connect
5. Follow instructions on the screen
My Lovla account is connected to the wrong Facebook account. How do I correct this?
We’ve seen it done by others and we’ve done it ourselves 😳 It’s an easy fix 😉 Go to Lovla and follow these steps:

1. Go to Profile and tap Settings
2. Tap Connections
3. Tap Disconnect
4. Reconnect by tapping Connect
5. Follow instructions on the screen
How do I change language on Lovla?
If you use a web browser, it’s quite simple to change language 💻 Go to lovla.dk, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on the language you want to use Lovla in, and you’re done 🎉

If you use a mobile device, you need to change language via your device settings 📱
How do I delete my Lovla account?
It hurts to say goodbye, but we hope it’s because you found love on Lovla 👫❤️

Under Settings, you can choose from 2 different ways to end our relationship ⚙️ You can either disable or delete your account:

1️⃣ Disabling your account means your profile, photos, messages, likes and all data associated with your account will be hidden, so other members can’t see or contact you until you sign in to your profile again 👻📲

2️⃣ Deleting your account means your profile, photos, messages, likes and all data associated with your account will be deleted completely 🗑️

Please note that deleting the Lovla app doesn’t delete your profile 📵

Location services

What does Lovla use my location for?
With Lovla you get the opportunity to meet potential matches nearby 💓

That’s why, Lovla needs access to your current location, to show you the potential matches that are close to you 📍 🥰

But it goes the other way too 🔄 Once your location is activated you also make it possible for other singles to discover if a hottie like you is within their radius 😍
How do I enable my location?
You can activate your location under Settings on your profile ⚙️

Once activated you’ll see singles on Lovla, based on your own current location 📍
How do I enable my location after denying access?
If you’ve previously denied Lovla access to your location, you have to give permission from the settings on your device or browser 🙅🏻

How you allow Lovla access will differ depending on the browser and platform (desktop vs. mobile) you're using. To help you best, here’s a guide 👷🏻✔️

📱 App:

iOS:
1. Go to Settings and select Lovla
2. Under Location you press Always

Android:
1. Go to Settings and select Lovla under Applications
2. Press Permissions and select Locations

💻 Web:

Chrome (desktop):
1. Go to lovla.dk and click the padlock on the top left
2. Change Location to Allow under Site settings

Safari (desktop):
1. Under Safari’s Preferences, you open Websites and click Location
2. Choose Lovla on the Website list, and allow permission

Safari (iOS):
1. Go to Lovla.dk and click on “aA” on the top left
2. Choose Website settings and change Location to Allow

Note: If you’re browsing in private mode, Safari will automatically block location.

Firefox (desktop):
1. Click the padlock on the top left
2. Change Location to Allow

Internet Explorer/Bing (desktop):
1. Press Windows key + C and click on Settings
2. Go to Privacy and choose Location
3. Click clear and turn on the location

If you’ve tried all options without any luck, you can contact Lovla Support. Then we'll look into the matter 👷🏻
Why should I update my location?
If we ask you to update your location, it’s typically due to one of the following reasons:

1. The connection to your location was lost
2. You’re logged in via a new browser or device
3. You have chosen to disconnect from your location service

By updating your location, you ensure that the singles that are within the radius you’ve set under My ideal match are shown 😍📍
Can I meet singles without enabling my location?
If you haven’t activated your location service, we’ll either use your city or your country to show you singles from 🌆

However, the consequence is that should you move outside your city or country, you’ll miss out on being shown singles from your current location, which can be full of new potential matches 👩‍❤️‍👨

Profile

How do I edit my profile information?
You can spice up your profile and edit your info under Edit Profile ✍️

The more you fill out your profile, the better matches we can find for you 👩‍❤️‍👨
How do I change my name?
If you want to change your name, you can do so under Edit profile ✍🏻
How do I change my profile text?
If you want to update your profile with new content, you can write a few words about yourself and what you’re looking for under Edit profile ✍🏻

Please note that you get most out of a positive and sweet text, that can charm more potential matches 🤩
What does it mean that my changes are under review?
When we review your changes, it simply means that we check if the content comply with our Terms of Use 🗒️ ✅

We do this to maintain a high quality of Lovla 🏆

We strive to do so within a few hours. Thank you for your patience 🥰
Why are my changes not approved?
Lovla is created for high quality dating 🏆 If your changes doesn’t comply with our Terms of Use, they won’t be approved.

How do I add photos to my profile?
Photos are your most essential weapon in the battle of the best first impression, and fortunately you can upload plenty of them 🤩 This you can do quick and easy under Edit profile.

A super tip: The best photos are the ones that show you clearly. Our experience tells us that pictures with smiles attract the most Likes 😎
How do I delete my photos?
If you need to update your look on Lovla, you can easily delete photos you no longer want to show 🗑️ You do this under Edit profile 😎
Why are my photos being reviewed?
It’s important to us that the people you meet on Lovla are valid ❤️
That’s why we review photos to ensure they comply with our guidelines and to maintain the high standard of our members at Lovla 🏆
Why are my photos rejected?
Lovla is created for high quality dating 🏆
That's why photos will be rejected if they don’t live up to our guidelines on Lovla 📝

You can read our guidelines here:
- No photos of a person under the age of 18 years
- No blurry photos that doesn’t show your face clearly
- No photos of someone other than you
- No nude photos
- No photos promoting any kind of hate or violence
- No personal contact information in/on the photo

Why are my photos not visible on my profile yet?
Lovla is created to give you a safe experience when you meet new people 🏆
That’s why, we review all photos before they’re approved for viewing by others on Lovla 📸 It shouldn’t take more than a few hours 💫
Why did my photo upload fail?
If the upload of your photos failed, check the following 🔧:

- Make sure the photo size doesn’t exceed 2 Mb
- Check that the photo type is JPEG, BMP, GIF or a PNG
- Make sure, Lovla is enabled in access to your photos

Boost

What is a Boost?
With a Boost, you’re pushed right to the front of the line, which makes it possible for even more to see you when they’re looking for a good match 🤩

A Boost allows you to be one of the profiles displayed as the first choice on Explore, Spot and Discover, while your profile is boosted 🌟

Also, you reach the top of all the like-, match- and chat request lists you’re already on, during your trip on Boost 🥇
Why should I get a Boost?
If you want to speed up your interaction on Lovla, you can Boost your profile 🚀 You increase your visibility up to 100x more and thereby attract more singles to check you out and start flirting with you while you’re boosted ❤️
How do I get most out of my Boost?
When you boost your profile, you’ve got an impact on how much you get out of your Boost 🚀

Whether you’re active or not during your Boost, your profile will be displayed as one of the first when other singles surf around Lovla 🏄🏻‍♀️

But you get the best results if you make the most of the time and swipe away while you’re boosted 🏆 We give you a push in the right direction, but the chances of matches increase significantly when you make a small effort yourself 💪🏼

As soon as you like, write a message or match with someone, you’ll also be shown as the first among their likes, chat requests, and matches while your Boost is running 👏🏻 That’s why we recommend you make the most of your Boost and go all-in on your activity 💫💃🏻 Good luck!
How much does a Boost cost?
You can buy 1, 5, or 10 Boosts at a time. The larger a number you choose, the less you give for each Boost 🌟

1 Boost = 45 kr.
5 Boosts = 129 KR. which means 25 KR. ea.
10 Boost = 209 KR. which means 20 KR. ea.

Purchasing Boosts is a one-time payment and can be purchased under your Lovla account 😊 You can order a new round if you want more after you’ve used up all your Boosts 👍🏻 There’s no expiration date and a Boost is non-refundable after purchase.
How do I activate a Boost?
Once you’ve purchased Boost, you can find several places to activate them 🌟

Find the purple Boost icon under Discover or tap “Boost me” when you see a Boost widget on Explore 💟 From there you can start your Boost right away 👍🏻 Have fun!
How many times can I activate Boost?
You can use as many Boosts as your heart desires 😍

As soon as your Boost has expired, you can activate a new one 👍🏻 If you want even more Boosts to use, you can buy more under your Lovla account 😄

Payment

What's the processing time for purchasing?
You receive your product as soon as the payment is succeeded 🏁
Is the payment process safe?
Your safety and the safety regarding your personal information, is of our utmost concern ⚠️

I can’t complete a payment. What should i do?
We’re sorry if you experienced an issue with your payment on Lovla.

Here are the most common issues you should make sure of:

📱 You have the newest app version of Lovla
🖥️ Your web browser is updated to the newest version - We recommend Google Chrome
💳 Your credit/debit card is accepted internationally and there’s enough funds to cover the needed amount

Contacting members

How do I contact other members?
To start a conversation, simply visit a profile and click on the message icon 💬
Where do I find the sent messages?
Under Chats you’ll find the overview of your messages, likes and matches 💌

If you’ve sent a message, the conversation is not visible until you receive a reply 👍🏼 The same applies when you send likes, which can only be seen when the like is reciprocated and turns into a match 💞

In your Chat request queue, all the messages you havn’t yet opened are gathered 💌 In your Match queue you see those who’ve sent you a like and are now waiting to match with you 😍
How do I delete messages and requests from my chat list?
It’s not possible to delete messages or requests 🚯

But you can mark messages as seen. If you want to remove a match from your list completely, you can block that member 🙅🏻‍♂️
How can I see if my message has been received?
When you open your conversation, you can check the status of whether your message has been received and read:

- An icon with a filled tick means the message was received but not read ☑️
- An icon with the member's profile picture means they read the message 💁🏻
- And an empty tick means the message hasn’t been received yet ✔️

If you’re waiting on an answer, you can always kill time by swiping for new matches 😍💫
Can I cancel a sent message before the receiver opens it?
You can’t cancel or delete a sent message. Every message sent, reaches the member instantly 📨
Why did I loose a message?
If you’ve lost a message from your list, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

1. You or your match has chosen to remove the match
2. The person you chatted with either closed or disabled their profile.

In either case, all conversations are permanently removed 🗑️

However, that shouldn’t hold you back in the pursuit of dating. You can quickly start something beautiful again, by swiping for other singles on Lovla 💖
Can I undo a match or a like?
If you immediately undo a like while swiping, you can take it back as a Lovla Plus member by tapping the undo icon ↩️

If you later regret a match, you can remove the match again, so you do not meet them at Lovla anymore 🚫
Can I contact a member of the same gender?
Under My ideal match, you can set which gender(s) you want to start something sweet with 🏳️‍🌈 Remember that you can only meet the members who’ve also set your gender as what they prefer 😍
How can I be notified about new likes or messages?
Under your Settings you can activate the notifications you want to receive when there’s activity on your profile ✨😍

That way, you decide for yourself if you want to stay up to date, when your dating life is glowing 💖
How do I get more matches?
Lovla provides you with the tools to land the dream date ❤️ But we also offer an extra push in the right direction:

By boosting your profile, you’ll be pushed to the front of the line and allow more singles to meet you, as the first pick when looking for a good match 🤩🔍 You’ll get the best results if you take advantage of the extra attention and swipe away while you’re boosted 🏆

Last but not least, we can’t stress enough how much impact your photos have on other singles. It's 10x easier to fall for you if you show your sweet smile 😍 So, remember to fill out your profile.
How do I block someone?

How do I appear as an ideal match to others?
My ideal match works both ways 🔄 This means it’s also used when other singles are looking for what they prefer together with you 😍

So, it’s essential that you fill out your own profile in order for you to appear as an ideal match for others 👩‍❤️‍👨 If you haven’t already done so, you can do it under Edit profile - preferably up to 100% ✔️
How do I meet members from a specific area?
Under My ideal match, you can edit the number of km you want to meet singles from, based on either your own location or the city you choose. Once you’ve selected the number of km, our matching algorithm learns your preference and shows you more singles from there.

If you want to narrow down the search on singles in a specific area, you can sort the selection under Spot, based on members nearby.

To use this feature, you must have location on your device settings enabled and allow Lovla access 👍🏼

How do I report someone?
Should you encounter a member who doesn’t live up to the rules of good behaviour at Lovla, you can easily report the case to us 📢

Simply go to the profile of the member you want to report ⛔ Click on the settings feature in the upper right corner and describe the reason for reporting.
